1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Local pins website (localpins.net) and to every purchase made on it. By using the site or buying a map, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, reach us through the contact form.

2. What we sell

Local pins sells digital map files in KMZ format — curated collections of local points of interest for a city, region, or country. The files work with Google My Maps, Google Earth, Organic Maps, Maps.me, and other apps that support KMZ/KML.

Every map is a one-time purchase: no account, no subscription, no recurring charges. Some regions also offer a free sample file so you can try the format before buying.

3. Ordering and payment

Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider (Stripe or Lemon Squeezy) on their secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details — we only receive your email address and a confirmation that the order was paid.

Prices are shown on each map’s page and include everything; there are no additional fees.

4. Delivery

After successful payment we email you a download link. The link:

• is valid for 72 hours from the time of purchase, and
• allows up to 5 downloads.

If your link expires, stops working, or you lose the email, contact us via the contact form and we will issue a new one at no charge.

5. Refunds and the right of withdrawal

Because our maps are digital content delivered immediately after purchase, by completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose the 14-day right of withdrawal provided by EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU).

For this reason, all sales are final once the download link has been delivered.

If a file you purchased is broken, incomplete, or doesn’t match its description, contact us — we will fix it, replace it, or refund your purchase.

6. License

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the map files for your own trips and projects, on any of your devices.

You may not resell, redistribute, publicly re-publish, or share the files or their contents, in whole or in part.

7. Map accuracy

Our maps are curated by hand, and places change: businesses close, move, or alter their opening hours. The maps are provided for information only, “as is”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Please use common sense when relying on them — especially for navigation or in remote areas.

8. Privacy and your data

We collect and store only what we need to run the shop:

• Orders — your email address and order details, so we can deliver your purchase and help you if something goes wrong.
• Contact form — your email address and message, so we can reply.
• Map requests — your email address and the map you asked for, so we can let you know when it’s available.

Payment data is processed by Stripe or Lemon Squeezy under their own privacy policies. We never sell your data or share it with anyone else. If you want your data deleted, ask us through the contact form and we’ll take care of it.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies; by continuing to use the site or making a purchase, you accept the current version.
