Things to do in Athens, no research required

Athens is more than the Acropolis and everyone knows it, but the itineraries never reflect that. This one does. It threads the galleries, the ruins and the restaurants together, from the ancient stone seating of the Odeon of Herodes Atticus to the paintings inside the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation. Break for lunch at Victory, or slow the whole day down with a coffee at Coffee Joint before the next set of ruins. The smaller museums and the breakfast spots are in here too, which are the parts that never survive an Acropolis-and-done schedule.
