Four stops that refuse to add up to one kind of trip: one on the southern coast, three further inland. The coastal city is for harbor crossings and density. The first inland stop is for what’s buried outside the old city walls, the second for the food, the third for a skyline built into hillsides above two rivers. Attractions and restaurants lead the count across all four, with a deep run of historic buildings behind them.
