Hi, I’m Mira

I used to be a corporate analyst, burned out, quit, and bought a one-way ticket — never really stopped since. Now I run the voice of Local Pins: the writing, the maps you’re looking at right now, the Instagram account.

Local Pins are filtered lists of solid spots for a city or region, built to drop straight into whatever map app you already use. Buy once, keep it — no subscription, no account. Most regions have a free sample, so you can test it against somewhere you already know before you spend anything.

Why Local Pins?

• The research is already done — no more open tabs, blog posts, and half-finished spreadsheets. Each map condenses a filtered list of local points of interest into one file.
• One import, every trip — load the map once and it stays in your app, ready whenever you land, this trip and the next.
• No subscription, ever — buy the file once and own it forever. No account, no recurring charge.
• Honest coverage — a growing set of city and region maps, spanning multiple countries. A region map costs about the same as a coffee; a country bundle costs less than a meal out. Most regions offer a free sample so you can check before you buy.

What’s included

• A filtered set of local points of interest for each region — rating and review count, not personal opinion, do the sorting
• Ready-to-use KMZ files compatible with Google My Maps, Google Earth, Organic Maps, and OSM-based apps
• Viewpoints, hidden gems, restaurants, beaches, campsites, and more — whatever cleared the filter for that region
• Easy import to your favorite navigation app

Take it with you

The pins live right inside the map app you already use, ready the moment you open it:

How it works

1. Buy securely — pay once through our secure checkout; no account or subscription needed.
2. Instant download — the KMZ map file is delivered straight to your inbox.
3. Import and explore — import it into Google Maps, Google Earth, Organic Maps, or Maps.me and the pins are already there. Using Organic Maps or Maps.me? They’ll keep working with zero signal. Need the exact steps for your app? See our how-to guide.

Perfect for

• Independent travelers who’d rather explore than research
• Road trip, campervan, and RV travelers
• Digital nomads

Ready to start? Browse all maps — or grab a free sample first and see if the filter’s any good. Don’t see your city yet? Request it and I’ll let you know when it’s ready.
